You know..
You know, Christian's like you and me forget the real meaning of Christmas. Especially if you live where I do and no one looks jolly. Or nothing Christmas-y is up. It makes me sad. Even if someone had just maybe a little SANTA up! But noooo- we have to be serious, and not believe in Christmas miracles. Well, I still believe. And I always will believe. I hope all of you will too, especially when Christmas is 4 days away...

Spending Money On Gifts
People all over the world are cutting back on their Christmas gift budgets so they have more for other things. But I have some questions for you, Isn't this the season of giving? Are we not supposed to give all that we have? That does not mean we go ahead and buy our 3 year old the iPad she wanted. We give what 3 year old's use. Toy trucks, dolls. We give what we have because we love our family and want to bless them. If we give God can give to us. But if we are not giving, how can God give to us? He can't. So it is as simple as this, "Give." You do not have to go to the extreme and owe a debt on what you get for someone, because people still owe debts on the gifts they bought last year. I am asking you to give from your heart.
What We Give During Christmas Time:
What do we give? That's what a lot of you are saying. But it is really very simple. We give, Love. How? Well, I am about to tell you...
When it becomes December we know Christmas is around the corner. So we spend time with each other. We do that by baking cookies, caroling, giving food and blankets to the homeless, playing a board game with family, reading about Christ's birth, have party's. That's what we do, and we give something as we do it, love. When we bake cookie's we put love into it, when go caroling we give love to who we are singing to, when we give to the homeless we give love to them, when we play board games, we share love with family, when we read about Christ's birth we accept the love God gave us by giving us His only son. And when we have par-tay's ( :D lol) we give love to others around us. You see Love started when He was born on Christmas night. Of course there was love before then, but you understand what I mean. So please, go out to the world and share the good news! LOVE WAS BORN! :)

Today Is A Good Day
Every morning I wake up and say Good morning Lord, and thank you for sending Your Son to us. For my brother today is a really good day. :) It's his birthday. I am so very happy for him! I am supposedly still asleep and haven't said good morning. Although, I am awake and writing to you. Ha, it sounds like my siblings are watching Kermit The Frog... :)... In my family birthdays occur a lot this month. We have my Dad's birthday, my little brothers, and Jesus'. But also I can't wait for Christmas when the family traditions begin. On Christmas Eve we get a book and pajama's to wear that night. The next morning we sit in front of the tree looking at all the gifts and seeing which ones have our names on them. Then we look at our stockings (without touching them). And wonder what's inside. That's when our mom and dad come out. Then we open our stockings. And then our gifts... (we never have breakfast) afterwards, our grandparents come over and we open their gifts. Then our second grandparents come and we open their gifts. During the empty time we have before dinner we mess around with our gifts in the living room so we are all together. And on Christmas Eve and morning my Dad reads the Christmas Story from the Bible. And that is my favorite part! :) I hope it becomes your favorite as well.

Birthdays...
So what is Christmas about? Yes, not Santa.. Ya, not milk or cookies. Jesus' birthday, and we give gifts because it is the time to give. God gave us His only begotten Son to US! Yes, He gave Him to undeserving us. "What?" You may say. "We were not alive...." No, but God had us in mind. Because if God hadn't sent His son then. We wouldn't have a second chance to heaven now. Anyways, that is all I have to say right now.... I will write more in the morning. I have to go because my Dad and I are shopping for my brothers birthday tomorrow.
Research:
If you are truly interested in the Story of Christ, you should research it on the internet, or in the Bible....
In the Bible Jesus' birth is in Luke 1. (Not only Luke 1 but that is where the story of His birth starts.) Please, do not just go off of what my Christmas Story is.... research it.

The Story of Christmas:
The story of Christmas is not about Santa. It's not even about milk and cookies. It's about Jesus and the fact that He gave His life for you and for me. Now those of you who are not Christian's don't close out of this blog. The story of Christmas is as simple as this...
Mary was a simple virgin girl who wanted nothing more than to be a girl playing with her friends. A man named Joseph lived in the same town as her and noticed her very much. Another words, he liked her. He also knew her family was poor and had barely enough money to put food on the table for 2 people let alone 3. So he asked to marry her. She was to stay pure for a year before they should marry. She was praying when an angel came to her and told her she was to bear a son and call him Jesus. She told the angel that she wanted to bear the son. Now she knows she is pregnant with the Lord Jesus Christ. She wants to go visit her cousin Elizabeth who is an old barren woman, but God said she would be pregnant and she was. When Mary arrived at Elizabeth's house Elizabeth was pregnant with a son who God said they would call John. Elizabeth told Mary that her son jumped in her womb when Mary arrived. Mary returned to her home town pregnant and Joseph was furious, as were her parents. She told them the child was from God, but they did not believe her. Joseph had a dream and returned to her saying he believed. She was ecstatic, but when the Romans said that every man must return to their home city, Mary and Joseph had to move to Bethlehem. So they moved there and the time came for the baby to be born. A star shone bright above the child, and Shepherds gathered around Mary, Joseph, and the child. He was born in a manger. About a year later the three wise men came to the child and gave him three gifts: gold, frankencense, and mir.
And that my friends, is the story of Christmas. Jesus being born....

The Gift The Lord Gave You- A Poem by A Very Good Friend Of Mine
Christmas is not about gifts,
or stockings,
or food.
It's about the love the Lord gave to you.
Never forget,
No, never lose,
the forgiving heart God gave you.
Use His forgiveness ,to see,
the real meaning of Christmas.
